The initiative: Building safe football playgrounds

The Beit Hanoun town in Northern Gaza severely lacks playgrounds for its youngsters. So, they had to build their own. Despite the danger of its location as it is near the borders, the kids used to play there till one of the kids was injured; one of his figures was amputated, by the residues of the Israeli military. As a result, it is crucially important to build safe playgrounds inside the town far away from the dangerous border area.

Issue: Lack of social consolidation between the rich and the poor.

The initiative seeks to strengthen the social consolidation between the rich and the poor in Tal Aza’atar neighborhood in Jabaliyia by providing sewing machines for poor families and greengrocer stands. Moreover, the initiative includes organizing workshops for teaching the basics of English for elementary students and their mothers.
